For some it'll be the location ...
for others the amenities, craftsmanship and attention to detail.
For others it'll be the community.

An Ode to a Simpler Time...

Like many Seattleites, we were fatigued by the utilitarian boxes that are modern-day apartment buildings. We get it – building in Seattle ain’t cheap.

But we wanted to build something different.

So we are.

Roosevelt Manor will be among the newest and most unique apartment buildings in northeast Seattle. It'll be located in the white-hot Roosevelt neighborhood, chock full of fitness-, outdoor-, shopping- and nightlife opportunities. The exact location is tough to beat: roughly one mile from Green Lake, four blocks south of the Roosevelt light rail station, and three blocks from Interstate 5 on- and offramps.

All of Seattle, just minutes away.

The building itself will feature a unique interlocking twist design -- something between a Rubik's Cube and Jenga tower -- that will offer residents both covered- and uncovered courtyards and a vertical ground-to-sky column that will maximize natural light. We'll build it using cross-laminated timber, a cutting edge construction system which the University of Washington recently used in its new Founders Hall at the Foster School of Business. The building will also have all the amenities luxury residents have come to expect, from a roof deck and dog walk area to in-unit washers/dryers and stainless steel appliances.

Our building will pay homage to President Theodore Roosevelt, after whom the local high school was named and the namesake of our neighborhood. Although he visited Seattle only once (in 1903), he was one of the twentieth century’s great conservationists and embodied the same rugged outdoor spirit that Seattle is known for. Roosevelt governed in a simpler, friendlier time which, while not perfect, wasn't without its virtues. We'll pay homage to his time and spirit through our finishings: "contemporary" will not be a word that comes to mind with Roosevelt Manor.

Financing permitting, we hope to begin construction in 2025 and be ready for residents by late 2026 or early 2027.
